Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Software Object Pte. Ltd. (“Musing”, “we”, or “us”), and govern your access to and use of Musing — the website, dashboard, CLI, voice device, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Musing is an orchestration and integrations layer for the coding agents you already run on your own machine. The desktop app offers an accountless local-only mode that stores and dispatches tasks on one Mac, and an optional subscription workspace that stores tasks in the cloud for cross-machine dispatch and browser or mobile access.

Musing does not own or supply the underlying AI models, and does not use your model provider credentials or proxy model calls. Your agent tools, and their providers, run under your own accounts and authentication.

An account is not required for local-only desktop mode. Cloud and paid features require an account; you may sign in with Google or an email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

You retain ownership of the tasks, prompts, voice input, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Musing a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the cloud Service — including transcribing cloud voice input and routing cloud tasks to your agents. Local-only content is processed on your Mac and is not licensed to us unless you explicitly import or otherwise submit it to a cloud workspace. You are responsible for the instructions you dispatch and their results.

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, attack or disrupt systems, or circumvent the terms of any third-party tool you connect. You are responsible for ensuring your use of connected agent tools complies with those tools’ own terms.

The Service integrates with third-party coding agent CLIs and model providers that you install and authenticate yourself. Your use of those tools is governed by their terms and policies, not these Terms. Musing is not responsible for third-party services.

Paid features — including device reservations and any subscription — are billed through our payment processor. Fees, billing cycles, and refund eligibility are described at the point of purchase. Cloud voice features may consume speech-to-text processing that counts toward your plan’s allowance; bundled local-only speech recognition does not.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Musing is evolving software; features may change or be discontinued, and the Service may be interrupted. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Musing and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
